Kaloudi Sun dried tomatoes

Sun-dried tomatoes are ripe tomatoes that have lost most of their water content after spending a majority of their drying time in the sun. By drying ripe tomatoes, valuable nutrition elements are provided to our organism as they contain lycopene, antioxidants and vitamin C.

Kaloudi sun dried tomatoes are kept in extra virgin olive oil or in balsamic vinegar brine and can be included in the Greek salad or can be used with pasta, pizza, vegetable meals, meat meals and Kaloudi rusks.

Kaloudi Red Roasted Peppers

The peppers are cultivated in the region of Western Macedonia. The red pepper is known in Greece for its rich sweet flavour, used in various Greek dishes keeping the natural scents of pepper and topped with extra virgin olive oil, salt and vinegar.

The red peppers are usually roasted and stuffed with rice, meat, shrimps and feta cheese. These sweet peppers are used in sauces, salads, pasta, meat recipes or mashed, creating a pâté with traditional recipes. They can also be dried, canned, frozen and pickled, usually garnishing Greek salads. They can be roasted, sliced and served as an appetizer, by adding olive oil, garlic and sea salt.
